Hello folks. I've just got 3 network cards to use to connect some home pcs. I notice there's a 3-wire cable in each package. One of the istallation instructions in the manual says "Connect the WOL cable if your system supports WOL". I'm confused. What's this WOL and what does it mean? Do I really need that feature to make networking work?
All 3 pcs are running Win98(SE). The Cards are the D-Link Fast Ethernet PCI 10/100 type.
Do I have to worry about WOL connections? Thanks.
