WMP umbers?

have burnt a number of audio files from a series on the radio in MP3 format.. They are sequential as befits a serial!
The files in the WMP library run from 1 to 13.
Ask them to burn which it lists sequentially but when the disc is put in a MP3 player, the initial track numbers are not what was started out with. The final episode is in the middle & others apparently random.
Have had a good number of tries using sort sequences but to no avail,
Anyone come across this problem before?

Cheers

If they follow the normal numerical sequence, the final episode would be the 4th episode (1, 11, 12, 13, 2, 3, etc.).

I solved this problem by renaming the files 01, 02, 03, etc. If there is also alphabetical content in the title I just prefix it with the same 01, 02 numbering system.

It works for me.

Hope this helps :-)

have tried the workround but without success. Is spitting them round without a logical sequence.
have told WMP to sort by title, having put 01, 02 etc as a prefix but it doesn't make a difference.
Any ideas anyone?
