wmp problems

When i try to play video or music on windows media player, the sound starts and stops. The video does the same. When I went to troubleshoot, it tell me to buy a registery cleaner. do i have to pay to fix my wmp. Can anyone could help me.

No, Don't buy, there are plenty of free ones about.

Keep an eye on this thread, Somebody with more experience will recomend some.

not sure if a registry cleaner will sort the problem.
Try uninstalling/reinstalling wmp if the reg cleaner doesnt fix it..
Eusing is a good free registry cleaner
