WMP or VLC cant get access to my MP3's

  ColonelSnow 10:21 25 Jun 10

When i click on an mp3's or even normal folders on my E: and F: drives i get this message:

"Windows Media Player cannot access the file. The file might be in use, you might not have access to the computer where the file is stored, or your proxy settings might not be correct"

I think its to do with "Sharing permissions" or something like that on the drives....(I'm using Windows 7)...anyone know how to resolve this.

Thanks In Advance Guys

Hi Fruitbat.

Can you also do this with drives because i think its the drives properties that need to be shared or security settings set back to default etc?
