wlancfg.exe error

My partners PC is connect to the Internet via a Belkin 45g USB wireless adapter.

It has been working really good up until the storms we had on Monday 10th March.

Now all we get is this error message coming up every five seconds:

"wlancfg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

I then get two options:

Send Error Report or Don't Send

I have tried both but it makes no difference. The error message still keeps coming up about every five seconds.

What do I need to do now?

Hi all.

Perseverence pays off.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the Belkin software about 6 times and it seems to be working OK now.
