Hihope this makes sense what I'm about to write and someone can help me!!!I'm about to set up a network, which is going to contain a mix of wireless laptops and desktops.I'm going to have a Domain controller server thing, which is not going to be wireless.i want the server to handle the DHCP, DNS, AD etc, and in time there will be other servers added to the network (e.g a file server)my question is what is the best way to set all this up (e.g what additional equipment do i need, and how can i set it up?I'm assuming a wireless switch, where i can plug the server in, and the wireless bit will pick up the server.any help will be appreciatedhope this all makes senseTony
but I think you're fairly new to networking, and it's going to be a bit of a steep learning curve.I suggest that you click here and then click here Take a look at what's there first. Then come back with some specific questions.
