Wireless v. power socket networking

I would like to connect a PC from room to room but can't decide whether to go for wireless or power socket network. I feel the power socket route would be more secure (as in no signal could be picked up by neighbours, although I realise they would be encrypted) but just wondered what your opinions were?

I would go wireless.

It's good encryption nowadays, so people have to be extremely determined to access your wireless network..

I don't trust any signal path via mains, because of potential safety hazards

Plus what keeps the signal restricted to your house if you use mains.

I'm with Fingees on this. I'd rather stick with what I am used to.

Wireless is definately the way ahead. Using WPA and MAC address control, the chances of someone hacking into your network is practically zero.
