My laptop which has an intel pro wireless 2200 b/g wifi card came with intel pro set wireless software which i can use to connect to my wireless networks instead of the windows wireless software. Which one do you think i should use.

Is the intel software more safe?

cheers

Let Windows XP handle your wireless networking - it does it extremely well.

I have disconnected my Windows XP wireless and am now using the BT one that came with my router. As I am not getting any problems using the BT one I assume I have done the right thing.Would there be any advantage if I went back to using the Windows one? I can`t use both as they would conflict at least I think they would??????????

The main advantage of going back to the Windows one is that on a WiFi enable laptop, it's easier to pick-up networks in WiFi locations. I use the BT setup only for my desktop. All my laptops are Windows pick-up.
