Wireless router and Virgin Media

Hi

I have an 3Com office connect wireless router with 4x ethernet ports on the back. Although this was primarily used for my previous ADSL ISP, can I use it to connect to my existing ISP, Virgin Media? I currently have a cable modem for Virgin with an ethernet presentation. Can I therefore use this ethernet connection to plug direct into my 3com router and use the 3com as a wireless access point, to save me buying a dedicated wireless cable router? If so, any advice on what I need to set up etc?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

No two-difference system

ASDL Internet is via the phone line

Cable Internet is via a coaxial cable

You need a Cable /DSL router that you connect to the Ethernet Port on the Cable Modem
