WIRELESS ROUTER - Tiscali & Dell Compatible

  PC_HelpMe 10:00 24 Jul 08

As the title suggests, I have Tiscali Broadband on my home PC and am interested in possibly getting a DELL laptop. I am thinking of going "wireless" in the near future so that both the home computer AND laptop can be connected to the internet at the same time, but am wondering whether there are any wireless routers out there that would NOT be compatible with either Tiscali Broadband or a DELL laptop. (Hope that makes sense?).

Any recent ADSL router should work, some models/makes cope with a weak ADSL signal better than others, worth bearing in mind if you live a long way from the exchange and your signal is weaker as a result. You should have no problem if your current modem works without issues.

Thanks brundle. I was worried that I may have to buy a specific one for Tiscali/Dell.
