Just a Quick question. My Niece has a Virgin Wireless Router that she no longer uses.My grandaughter who is also with Virgin just got a new Laptop.Would she be able to use the Router or is it just set for the one computer.

Hi, I can't see any reason why it would not work if passed on - though I have never used Virgin.

...is it just a router [did it plug in to a virgin modem] or is it a modem/router.

If the former it can be used. If the latter, it may confuse Virgins system - each router is set to an address [house address].

Unfortunately I am not sure yet.I will have to find out.All I can say was she used the laptop downstairs and the Router was upstairs. Its all that I can tell you until I contact her again.Whether it was connected to the modem I am not sure.As soon as I find out I will report back. Thanks.
