Hi there,

I have a lynksys and an edimax router both of which are wireless, currently the lynksys is connected to my internet and broadcasts my inter wirelessly around my house, however I would like to use my edimax to connect wirelessly to my lynksys so that I can plug items into the edimax and it will talk with the lynksys and allow internet access.

I hope I have explained this enough so you can understand what I would like to do.

Basically its like this............

INTERNET NTL
¦
LYNKSYS WIRELESS ROUTER

(WIRELESS SIGNAL)

EDIMAX ROUTER (CONNECTS WIRELESS TO LYNKSYS)
¦
PRODUCTS CONNECT VIA LAN CABLE TO EDIMAX AND WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS INTERMET

What you are wanting is for the Edimax to function as a "Wireless Network Bridge".

Routers incorporate a Wireless Access Point to which Wireless Network Adapters connect. Access Points cannot communicate directly with each other so, unless your Edimax has the facility to operate in Bridge Mode, it isn't going to do what you want.
