Wireless Radio Enabled

There is an option on my router called Wireless Radio Enabled with a tick box. Currently ticked.

What is it and do in need it ticked or not?

Have you got an option hide your wireless (to stop it broadcasting) network?

I think if you were to untick Wireless Radio Enabled then you will lose your wireless connection.....

If you (or someone else) had no need for the wireless part of the router at the time when you brought the wireless router but was thinking of maybe using it at a later date, then you (or they) could disable the wireless part of the router until such time when you or they want to enable it.
