Wireless Networking + Vista = Hell!

Hi, I have a Prism 54g on my laptop and it will not connect to my Belkin 54g router. I have disabled security made sure SSID is Broadcasted but it will not pick up the connection. I tryed installing an XP driver but it will not install, do you know if there is a driver I can use?

Firstly, a Prism 54g what? USB? PCMCIA? Mini-PCI?

Secondly, don't expect things to go smoothly - or indeed work at all - with Vista Beta. Particularly with less popular brands such as Prism, which will likely take longer to produce suitable drivers.

Thirdly, if there is no update on Prism's support website yet (assuming that it has one) then it's a no-go for now.

" a Prism 54g " is an intergrated WiFi chip on the laptops motherbard.

Visit your laptops manufacturers site to see if it has a Vista patch.

I managed to connect via ethernet and it found something off the web.

Yes, before I found this site, I had problems, I fixed them on my own, now I found this site, I've become lazy!
