i have installed a Linksys Wireless-B PCI adapter on my desktop pc and i am trying to connect it to a Dell Inspiron laptop that has a Dell Truemobile 1400 Dual Band WLAN Mini-PCI-Card, which appears to be connecting to a WLAN wireless network but i cannot get to access any files or folders on the laptop from the desktop or vice-versa. does anybody know how to set up channels on wireless network cards or get them to talk to each other, any help would be appreciated

sorry for the delay, i am using XP home with XP2 installed, the situation has altered slightly in that i can now connect the 2 Computers but only on a WLAN wireless connection and i am unable to use any security on this network.
