Wireless networking

  herman1rg 09:39 17 Nov 04

My home system is running XP home, I have 1Mb broadband access.
I want to set up a wireless network so that the PC is networked as is my laptop (also running XP home)
What equipment will i need and where do the connections need to be made for the broadband connection?

ask your isp what they will support. get them to quote you a price for suitable kit, then go and find the same make and model from somewhere else a damn sight cheaper.

the thing is all isp's will not support "3rd party" equipment, but if you have the same make and model etc who's to say you did not get it from them?
