Wireless Network Question

My brother has very kindly given me 2 new wireless components...a BT wireless PCI card and a BT wireless PCMCIA card. I don't have the router yet, neither can we get broadband (still!!!), but when the time comes:

- will we need to buy a BT router for compatibility issues, or can we buy any wireless router

- will we need to join BT broadband, or will any service be ok?

Thanks :)

should work for any router and any BB provider

These two items can be bought (not BT brand) under £30. So do not need to buy BT gear if the price is not right.
