Wireless Network Connection problem

  Systemaxpc 20:12 02 Jul 10

I have an ERGO Microlite XL laptop, a few years old but its OK.
Had to reinstall Windows XP and ERGO associated drivers.
The problem that I have is that when I go into Network Connections there is no Wireless Network Connection icon displayed. If I open up Computer Management under Network Adaptors only '1394 Net Adaptor' and 'Realtek RTL8139/810X Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC' are shown. I also have yellow question marks under 'Other devices', 'Network Controller' and ' Unknown device'.

Any ideas

It appears that when XP was reinstalled, the drivers for the Wireless Network Adapter haven't also been reinstalled. Do you have a disk with the drivers for it?

You need to load the Network Drivers for your Card. If its built into Mobo then you need Drivers for the Mobo

I have been to the ERGO site and downloaded the drivers from there but they have made no difference. I must be missing something here but what I don't know.
