Wireless network

I have a desktop computer with two laptops connected with belkin wireless router, the laptops will no longer connect to the router. i checked setings in the laptops and none can find the router, they both say network connectors not connected, i have tried to reconect them but nothing. I have not changed any settings on any of the computers, just stopped connecting. My desktop is fine. Could it be that the router has failed ?
