Using XP pro
set-up wireless network using Network Sitecom wireless lan adapter utility
the manuel give me a e.g. ip address and said i had to change the last digit for my other comp
how do i find out my ip address
i knew the subnet mask is the same on both comps
also what channel do i use 1-4 and i would imaging both comps would have to be the same
any help would be appriecated

Normally the router will allocate an IP address to the computers which are connected to it, using the same address range as used by the router itself.

Assuming Win XP, open the Network Connections folder, highlight your network adapter (Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection) and look at the bottom of the blue pane on the left.
