Wireless mice

Windows XP Pro SP3; ASRock 775VM800; Pentium 4; 3GHz; 2Gb RAM

I use a Logitech VX Revolution mouse with my laptop. The dongle is 2.4GHz.
My desktop mouse needs replacing, and I would like another mouse similar to the VX Revolution. I am concerned, however, that as the proposed new Logitech mouse is also 2.4GHz, will the two computers, desktop and laptop, be able to differentiate the two mice when both computers are being used. Would there be a way for the two mice to be configured for differentiation?

You can connect more than one mouse to any computer at any one time, and they should both work, on the same computer

I have a Logitech MX620 cordless mouse due to a slight mishap with the dongle I had to buy a replacement. I was surprised that the original mouse would not communicate the new dongle. So the odds are that you would not have any problems.
