wireless LAN card won't install

hi all,i have a wireless lan card in my PC that was first installed by installing drivers then inserting the card,but after my harddisk failed i bought a new one and re-installed windows,i didn't really want to take out the card and re-install after installation,so i just left it.after windows installed i tried to installthe card whilst it was in,but i still did.now the drivers don't regognise the card,what should i do?.cheers.ben

You probably have a yellow ! mark in device manager for the card. You may be able to delete the entry, from device manager, reboot and then it may recognise the card.

If it will not work that way. You will have to remove the software, shutdown the computer, remove the WiFi card, boot up, install the software, shut down, put the WiFi card in and then boot up again.

thanks dan,will do,but i need a new PSU for the one which has the lan card.its only a 300W powering 2XCD drives 2Xharddisks 1X internal memo card 1X floppydisk.lol.cheers again.ben
