Belkin Wireless G Router. PC keeps dropping the connection - i have to do the rescan even though the network still appears there with at least 45% to 50% minimum. I have to reconnect before I can access the net. Any ideas as to whats wrong?

It sounds like the dreaded "zero wireless configuration" service is trying to override your wireless adapter and belkin software, try disabling this on the pc just go to my computer, properties and manage then select the sevices tab then scroll down till you come to "zero wireless configuration" double click it then if its running stop it then select disable if its not running just select disable and ok etc, that should sort things out..
hope this helps..

I'll try that (it was on) and see if it works. Thanks!

Nope, that didn't do it - had to rescan and connect again. Any other suggestions?
