I have a desktop with telewest cable modem connection, but am getting a second desktop, this in another room used mainly for online gaming, medal of honour, call of duty, medieval....etc. I'm inclimed to go wireless with this second pc using router and network card.
Any advice on problems with a wireless setup when gaming, ie signal breakup, picture freezing or just poor response?
If it's ok, any suggestions on router/card combinations, not too expensive!

I would advice that you do not use a wireless router for online gaming. I play Guild Wars online and found that when I ran it from a my computer wirelessly then I get a lot off LAG. I decided to go back to the cable and this way I do not get LAG.

Hope this helps

thanks Sat,

Looks like a rethink is needed.
