Wireless enabling a PC

I'm currently using a Speedtouch 330 modem for my Internet connection. How , or rather, what changes are necessary on my PC to make it wireless enabled? Thanks for any help.

Is it a laptop or a desktop?

Basically you need a wireless adapter for the PC - and a wireless modem/router in place of the Speedtouch.

For a desktop you can get a plug-in USB adapter, os a PCI internal card.

Most modern laptops are alreadt wireless enabled - if they aren't, use an external adapter or a PCCard.
