Wireless Disconnection Problem - Cable & Wireless

Hi all,

Wouuld really appreciate any help with this as the modem is about to go on a one way trip to the bin soon :)

I have a cable and wireless ADSLR10CW3 router and modem.

It works fine if the network is unsecured. However once I set up WPA I start getting the problem.

The first time I connect using the WPA key everything works fine - I can access the internet and I have a connection. However when I then shut down and restart the PC and try to connect again my pc connects to the router, stays connected for about 20 seconds and then disconnects. During this time I cannot view web pages.

Any bright person out there have any idea what is happening ? I've been trying to solve this for months and am beggining to think the only solution involves a large hammer.

Thanks !
