I guess there is a very simple answer to this so can someone please advise?
What do I need to make a wireless connection to my Sony Vaio which has built in Wireless. My tower pc is connected to the internet via usb from an ntl cable modem.
Thanks very much...

router link with "cable modem" via Ethernet cable which NTL modem should have, but better to check it.

you can find a lot of choice at broadbandbuyer

Are you saying that the ONLY thing I need is a wireless router.. Nothing else???

A wireless cable router will make life nice and simple for you. All you should need to do is plug the NTL modem into the router and then you can use the wireless connection for the Vaio and the desktop can use one of the ports on the router (providing it has some...most do)

The only thing you would need is a router. However depending on the age of the Vaio you may want to buy a USB/PCMCIA wireless card. Have used one pre-centrion wirelss Sony and it was, for want of a better word, pants.
