Wireless connection and IE problems on laptop

Card says connected, strength excellent

IE says no internet connection, worked before, but now cannot get onto the internet on the laptop

Using XP pro, and sitecom wireless card - all activity on the card configuration program say everything is fine - I'm stumped

Can someone point me in the right direction, solution is probably that obvious its under my nose and I'm missing it

Have tried a couple of other programs to request uopdates, and they also say cannot connect.

Is Internet Explorer configured correctly?

Nothing has changed IE settings since it connected properly last week, the last time laptop was used.

Settings for connection in IE says use LAN settings which are all automatic.

Try resetting the router.Unplug it for 30 secs and reconnect.
If that does not work, reset the router using the pin hole at rear.Dont forget to set up encryption again.
