Wireless connection ends suddenly

Whenever I open a game to play online (ie - Battlefield 2, Call of Duty, Half-Life 2 etc) my wireless network crawls to a stop and disconnects, at which point I need to tab out of the game and try and "repair the connection"

The upstairs computer (which has the router) works fine, and my own connection is alright (although it still occasionally disconnects) as long as I'm not gaming.

Any suggestions?

Try this setting

Network Connection Setting

Click-Start- Setting-Network Connection-New Connection Wizard

Select-Connect to the Internet-Next

Select-Set Up My Connection Manually-Next

Select-Connect using a broadband connection that is always on
