My laptop and btvotager 2500 sometimes connect without a problem wirelessly but most of the time they dont and wont. Often i am told there are no available connections and sometimes it tells me my router does exist but is not transmitting the router lights are all solid green. hours wasted with bt relay teams solved nothing but i did get a replacement router. now have 2 and same prob with both. Nothing in house seems to be interfeering so any ideas

Do you have the SSID set to display and not hidden ?

Maybe the laptop adapter is faulty, you seem to have eliminated the router. Also check the adapter drivers.

If this is wireless then you may be out of range, Try changing the Channel in the router

2 could be adapter but how can i check it drivers are up to date
3 i expect a better range than 3ft! changing channels has no effect

Set the SSID to broadcast , it'll give you something to connect to , hiding it can cause connection problems .
