i am getting wireless broadband,1mb ntl.
i have a desktop pc in a room, and a laptop in the living room, both pc`s are xp home edition.
this may sound like a silly question, but can both pc`s be on the internet at the same time?
also when using the laptop as the wireless internet,do i have to have the desktop pc turned on?

Yes they can both connect at the same time.

If you do not have a router then the main PC will have to be on for the laptop to connect.

If you are getting a kit like click here then the main PC would not need to be switched on, only the router.
