I find it difficult to get my mind around this combination - do they work together or seperately ? I tried to read up on this but can find nothing on the two together

I have a 3com wireless router running my network of 2 PCs and a laptop - all on winXP - a Canon Pixma MP 520 printer is not on a network but wired to the main PC

how can I get the printer onto the network ? do I need a USB wireless dongle on the printer or a USB Bluetooth dongle - or a completely different aproach ? jarani

Have you tried Sharing the printer wirelessly using XP's Network Wizard. Though I don't think it works with all printer - it works fine with my Epson R265 and my previous Epson R300.

Forgot to mention - no bluetooth adapter needed.

Go to Control Panel, click on Printers and Faxes, then right-click on your Printer icon, if that printer allows Sharing, the word Sharing will appear in the drop-down menu - click on it and follow your nose ....
