Wireless bandwidth issue...

Just set up a wireless network at home using 2 PC's fitted with the Belkin 54g wireless network card. Main PC is configured to be the host (ie - there is no router involved).

The main issue I have is that on the main PC, when running a bandwidth test, I am getting more or less my full 256kbs from my Tiscali service (both upload and download). The second PC is only achieving a maximum 100kbs both ways. The signal strength is fair (I'm working on it!) but I'm just wondering if there are some settings within the wireless card configuration which will enable a better rate of transfer.

It should improve as you get an improved signal.

Managed to get a fair to good signal now, with very little noise, but still cannot get the upload or download speeds over 100kbs. Any further ideas?
