Wireless adaptor??

Hello again :)

BT are going to send me a wireless adaptor, and incidentally, knocking some money off my Broadband fees to keep my custom. What I would like to know is, as my computer is not wireless enabled what do I need to buy in advance of the wireless thing arriving, or do I need to wait and see what sort it is?

Some advice as to the best thing to buy would be great.

Just wait and see what sort it is before you buy as you might have to buy any thing

More likely a USB wireless adapter

Does the router have wireless?

Ooops I meant, of course, to say they are sending me a wireless router.

Than you need a USB wireless adapter

If you just have a desktop computer cant see the point of a wireless router as its better to have a wired connection to your pc. On the other hand if you have other computers or laptops these could connect wirelessly to the router assuming they are wifi enabled. Most uptodate laptops have wifi built in, not many desktops have, if not you will need to get a usb adaptor as ambra4 says.
