Just been having a look at pcworld and they are selling wireless access points and adsl routers which are also wireless.

Whats the difference? And which are better?

wireless access points, I may be wrong but think these plug into the 13amp mains sockets in the house so you should get a better connection as it does not have to go through walls as does wireless. You would still need a Modem or modem router to connect to

Wireless access points are for adding to a non wireless router.

Yo need a wirelesss modem (adsl) router, to to act as modem for broadband and to give both wireded and wirelss connection to more than 1 PC/laptop
