wireless access point

First of all please bear with me as I do not understand much about networking. I have a netgear DG834 v2 modem router networked to 2 computers with no problems, I have now aquired a laptop (thanks to santa) and I would like to network it with the other computers and to get on the web. I have been told I need a wireless access point, can anyone recommend one that would be compatable with the netgear, good value for money and easy to install and set up.

you might as well buy a Netgear DG834G v2 - the wireless router/modem, rather than adding a wireless access point. You'll pay around £40 or £50 for the access point, whereas you could get the DG834G for £68 or so, and do the whole job with one neat unit.
