hi, i recently got a laptop and found that it has built in wireless, however, when connecting to the internet there are a load of leads, etc. i was wondering if there was anyone who could direct me as to what i need to buy or install. thanks

If your laptop has a built-in wireless card, that as far as the laptop goes is that.

You do need a router to link with your existing broadband provider and "broadcast" info back and forth to your laptop and any other computer with a wireless facility.

You will have to set up any new router, and it is usual to connect this by the same sort of RJ11 cable as you use for a Broadband modem at present.

Don't worry about extra cables at this stage, they are usually supplied with a router and installation instructions.
