Wiping Laptop Hard-Drive

Hi Folks,

I need some help please, I have a Toshiba Laptop & I want to sell it on as spares/repair with a clean HD. The problem is that it has a graphics chip failure, therefore no screen to view. I assume that I will have to remove drive from laptop, but what will I need to do the job of wiping data from it? It doesn't matter if it's wiped totally clean, as I have all the supplied discs including O/S which will go with laptop.

Thanks in advance,

Just a mass of colours on another monitor, have took out the HDD, is there any way of viewing the contents & wiping clean without resorting to PC World where it would cost a fortune.

If you download dban and burn as an iso to a cd, then when you reboot lap top with cd lappy then all you then have to do without looking at the screen is type "autonuke" and press enter, then just let it do it's thing till next morning. Job dun!!

Dban is so much safer than killdisk.
