Ive downloaded a file and its compressed in a zix format. There was instructions with the file to tell me how to decompress the file using winzix. I downloaded winzix and tried to install it but my antivirus stops the installation and tells me its a fraud tool.
So does anybody know if its safe to use and my antivirus is being over sensitive? And does anybody know of a different program to decompress it.

looks like you may be wise to stay away from this programme, if your antivirus suggests it is suspect i would delete the file and anything associated with it..
