I am a bit dumb I want to zip a file of size 1.9mb that I downloaded from the internet so It will fit on a floppy disk,
A) I do not know how to do this
B)If I send it to the floppy will it self extract when I try to unpack it or do I need to put a self extract file onto the floppy as well.
I have read the help files but I cant get my head around how I do it. Any help would be appreciated thankyou

Floppies are for one 1.44mb in size.

Compression may not manage to make the file fit one one floppy. At which point you will want to use a spanned archive. Open winzip and then press F1 will explain all you need to do for both.

Well 1.44mb in their standard guise.

As Creature of the Nite suggested you may need to use disk spanning click here
