WinXP "Repair" option.

Is the Repair option available on XP Home or is it exclusive to XP Pro?

On both I believe.

Hi. I was just wondering as everything I have surfed always refers to XP Pro.

OK guys, thanks for that. I could have dug out my installation disc and had a look (try) but I thought it quicker to ask here. Thanks a lot.

Curiosity got the better of me so I had a go.
After accepting the Licence agreement (F8) I don't get a Repair option WinXP Home (OEM) SP1.
The options available are:
Setup XP on the selected item press Enter.
Create a partition on the unpartitioned space press "C"
and Delete the selected partition press D.
Not an R option in sight :-)
I am speaking about XP Home OEM SP1 on a PC which has XP Home OEM SP3 installed, if that would make any difference?

Finally ;-), I am going see if I can produce the Repair option by using a bootable streamlined XP Home SP3 CD, unless anyone out there knows it's not possible...
