WinME re-install - what should I remember to do?

  scotty 09:33 30 Jun 05

After 5 years of abuse my Windows ME installation was playing up. I carried out a full Windows installation last night. I had a Microsoft security update CD which I used and then checked for more recent security updates. I installed AVG and Zonealarm and am now installing applications (only the ones I need as opposed to the dozens of possibly useful ones!)

Are there any other things I should do now?

Make sure you've installed antispyware apps and updated them also

Good point, I think the current PCA cover CD has most of what I will need. What are the current favourites, is it AdAware and Spybot?
