I am getting alerts from my Norton firewall that process "C:Documents and Settings\.......\Start menu\Programs\Startup\WindowsUpdate14852(1).exe" is attempting to access the Internet. I have scanned with Norton Antivirus, Spybot and Ad-Aware (all fully updated) to no avail. Norton shows that it is attempting to contact an address at a Russian university using various ports so I assume it is an undesirable!!!. I cannot delete, move or quarantine the program. Can anyone identify it and advise me how to remove it???????????

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open Task Manager.

Select the process, right click on it and select End Process.

Then do a search for the file and delete it.

Finally, delete the shortcut form your Startup Folder.
