I have a New Computer (Toshiba Laptop) with a 160GB HD

Like you I bought a Toshiba Laptop and I simply hated Vista at the start - but, after a few months I actually prefer Vista to the XP which I had been used to.

Now I wouldn't return to XP -the only down point is that my favourite gane Toca 3 won't run in Vista.

Yes XP is still available and you can dual boot both systems

Chas49 Have you gone to Vista Help And Support and typed in the Search box "Compatability"

Stick with Vista. As Cesar states after a few months you should get used to it and hopefully prefer it. I did not like it when I first got it but would not go back now.
