Hi all

I have a Yamaha electric piano with MIDI in/out and have purchased a MIDI-to USD connector, but Windows XP isn't installing/finding any drivers.

I've Googled 'til my fingers are falling off without any sucess (but can find references to USB-MIDI being used with XP), can anyone point me in the right direction for drivers?

Thanks

Note, XP is fully update to date. AC 97 sound card. If I'm missing any import detail please ask.

You may need drivers for it to work.

A quick search found this web page it may help. click here=

Thanks Brynit

but I don't think Yahama drivers are the issue.

After some experimentation I've discovered that my rather aged and slow Thinkpad running XP finds finds and installs the drivers and so does a laptop running Vista, but my main PC doesn't.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get the PC to catch up?
