I have what possibly is a easy problem to solve, with the users who use these forums, but I am getting a little long in the tooth and things have progressed from Autoexec.bat and Config.sys. My problem, when I log onto my user area which is the Master, the FOLDER System32 is opened and the contents displayed on the screen. Which files do I need to look in to delete this entry and prevent it from happening.

System32 Folder Opens When Logging On
Added 3/26/04

If the System32 folder shows on the desktop, there may be an invalid entry in the Registry

Start Regedit
Go to both:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Double check that the values do not have incorrect, incomplete, or blank entries

Yep, Notepad.

What am I thinking of! You can do this directly in the registry editor.
