Windows XP start problem after virus infection

My computer cannot start Win XP Pro from bootup without several reboots using last known working configuration after a recent MSblast & Welcha virus infection.The virus's are now completely removed and confirmed.
How can I find the corrupt (Win system 32 ?)files and replace them without completly re-installing XP

Start > Run > Type:

SFC /SCANNOW

Click ok and have the XP CD in the drive.
