Windows XP Paging File Corrupt

  Sebire 14:26 08 Jun 07

My XP SP1 computer, everytime I turn it on, tells me that my paging file is to small or doesnt exist and that it has created a tempoary one for me..
So Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Set Paging file....
I've set it windows regulated. Reboot, same message
I've set it to the recommended, reboot. Same thing
I've given it a huge start and dont exced level, reload same thing.
What ever setting i put it on, it doesnt remember once reloaded. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When changing did you click 'set' then 'ok'?

I have clicked set then apply and then ok on all the setting - windows manged ect. And it says reboot so i do and hey presto no change - it allways say paging tempoary either too small or doesn't exsist. Nothing seems to work.

If this has only recently started, try a System Restore back to a date when all was ok.
