I have a 2nd user pc runnung windows 98 (no cd)
1ghz pentium 3 512ram. would I be able to install windows XP oem version or would I have to buy a full copy?

Strictky speaking you would also need to buy a new piece of hardware and install it on the pc to use the oem version. But it should load no problem.

As AndySD says [Hello Andy ;o)] The OEM version is exactly the same as the retail version but should be sold with hardware only. A cheap mouse will come under this requirement and most shops will supply the disk without the hardware.

Thanks for your help

If you need the XP disk, try eBuyer click here and in search use codes 50264 [Home] or 52362 [Pro]. Both have SP1 included. No other hardware required.
