Windows XP - Notepad message

I have a laptop running XP which keeps giving the following message once windows has fully loaded.

Desktop - Notepad

Simply closing it gets rid of it and it doesn't come back until I start the computer again. The computer runs fine, the message is just annoying. The computer did have some trojan viruses on it which I've cleaned out, but the message was there before the clean. The Virus checker and Spybot now show the system to be fine.

Any ideas on what might be causing this and how I might stop it?? .

Start, Run, type

and click the OK button.

Look for this on the Startup folder and untick it. Restart your 'puter.

Brilliant it works perfect now - many thanks for your help, sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I had to leave my computer "home alone" as I had tickets for Simon & Garfunkel concert, that was brill too!
